Krysteene's High School Banquet, FVHS

Krysteene was able to attend her first high school banquet on Thursday, April 9th. It was held at the lodge in Glacier Camp which has a beautiful view of the Flathead Lake. There were photos being taken, a great meal, music and an inspirational speaker from Youth With A Mission (YWAM).

A family favorite is to make s'mores out on the deck, in the bbq. Sunday night was a little cool but it was still a fun time around the make shift camp fire.

Kyersten's Baptism !!!!!

Kyersten made the personal choice to accept Jesus Christ into her heart. We had several talks about Jesus and His plan for our lives....and for all of you that know Kyersten she had a lot of questions.

We go to an awesome church here in Kalispell (Fresh Life Church) and during the "Family" service on Christmas Eve our pastor, Levi Lusko, gave an invitation that if anyone wanted to have a personal relationship with Jesus that all they had to do was raise their hand and he would pray with them....and she raised her hand and said a short prayer and asked Jesus into her heart.

On Sunday March 1st, 2009 Kyersten was baptized as a public display for the personal decision she made to accept Jesus Christ into her heart.

She is a beautiful little girl and we are excited to see what great plans Jesus has for her life.

Night Snowboarding @ Big Mountain

It took awhile for the snow to finally arrive so this is our first time out snowboarding this season. In October Krysteene got a new snowboard, as an early birthday present, and was finally able to blow the dust off it and take it down the slope. Krystian & Krysteen have been snowboarding for 3 years now and they both seem to prefer going to Big Mountain for the night skiing which is offered on Fridays and Saturdays. The night skiing is nice because there are less people out and no glare from the sun...it makes for a real fun time.

Build & Grow @ Lowe's

Over the past few months we have been taking Kyersten and Kenneth to Lowe's for the Build & Grow workshops. Lowe's sponsors 2 workshops a month and the projects usually match the theme for the month. In October they built wooden Jack-O-Lanterns, November was a Semi-truck tailer and race car, and football goal posts and in December it was a Gingerbread house. The kids are given "I built it" certificates along with a theme patch for each project they complete. They both enjoy working on the projects and count down the days to the next one.
